On AMC’s Breaking Bad, which is in its fifth and final season, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) is a mild-mannered cancer-stricken chemistry teacher turned crystal meth cooker drug kingpin who’s currently engaged in a battle of wills with his DEA Agent brother-in-law Hank (Dean Norris). What the outcome of this face-off will be at the series finale is anybody’s guess, but one thing’s for sure: Hank is the one person right now who can bring about Walt’s downfall.
In the recent episode “Buried,” Walt’s lawyer Saul (Bob Odenkirk) suggests that maybe his client should take care of the situation by sending Hank “on a trip to Belize,” similar to how Walt supposedly “took care” of his former associate Mike.
Interestingly enough, the Belize Tourism Board took notice to this reference to their homeland, and instead of expressing outrage at the euphemism, they’ve embraced it by offering the showrunners of Breaking Bad a free trip to the Central American country.

The tourism board put out an ad stating that while they were flattered that their country was mentioned and that they hoped that their favorite characters wouldn’t be sent “on a trip to Belize” the way the show infers, they would actually like to invite the cast of Breaking Bad to Belize once the series ends.
The ad states that there’s no better place to relax and gives a list of things that each character would enjoy. Check out the full ad here below.
Right after the episode aired, The Belize Tourism Board tweeted to Morris warning him of Saul’s comment:
