At Marvel’s high-anticipated San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, the first trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ulton premiered exclusively to attendees at the convention center’s massive Hall H auditorium. The trailer is not yet online, but you can check out our coverage of the panel, which includes footage description.
The trailer introduces the film’s antagonist Ultron, who deems all the Avengers “unworthy,” stating that the only path to peace is their extinction. Of the many, many things shown in that packed trailer, there were 3 items from the film that ended up on display at the Marvel booth: Captain America’s shattered shield; an early look at Ultron, and the Hulkbuster armor.
You can check out the images from these props here below.
It will reportedly be a while until the trailer is officially released online, so if you don’t want to know any more about the props or the details from the trailer, then don’t continue reading.
Throughout the convention, at the Marvel booth the company was displaying new props from their upcoming films, and with Sunday came the unveiling of the following: Captain America’s shield, which was supposed to be unbreakable, but yet we see it shattered and scuffed in a scene where Tony Stark is looking over a ruined area where his fellow teammates lie injured and possibly dead; an early prototype of Ultron, which I believe is what was scene in the trailer – he looks a bit rickety and messed up, which is what made his threats seem even more sinister, since we know he’s going to open up a can of whoop ass on the mighty Avengers); and a glove on the Hulkbuster armor, which we see in action in the trailer.
