During last week’s E3 2016 press conference Bethesda provided more detail on their new title, The Elder Scrolls: Legends; a strategy card game where players can further explore the characters, creatures, and lore of the Elder Scrolls series.

Bethesda is following the footsteps of several renowned gaming companies by branching out into the world of online card games. It’s a simple move that allows them to participate in the market of pickup and play mobile games (note: Legends will also be available on PC).
Furthermore, Bethesda now has the ability to introduce their IP to an audience that may not have experienced other Elder Scrolls titles. As far as The Elder Scrolls: Legends goes, it seems to introduce a slight spin on the game board mechanic while containing a lot of the standard tactical fare that we’ve seen in other titles.
