Hall Of Faces Game Of Thrones

So this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International is in full swing and everyone is excited to geek out over whatever they geek out over. While most people were on the convention floor during Wednesday’s preview night getting an early read on the event, Geeks Of Doom was invited to explore the Con’s interactive Game Of Thrones exhibit, The Hall Of Faces.

For those that don’t know, in HBO’s Game Of Thrones, there is a place in Braavos called the House of Black and White, and in it you can find a place appropriately called The Hall Of Faces, which houses the skinned faces of the dead. These faces are then worn by those who want to blend into the crowd so they can perform whatever deed needs to be done, namely assassinations.

We were able to get an early look at what is going on inside SDCC’s Hall of Faces. Check out our photos here below.

While in the Hall of Faces, you can take a photo of yourself to become a part of the titular venue. Just be patient trying to find yourself in the great hall. There is also an opportunity for you to sit on the Iron Throne and wield Arya’s weapon of choice, her sword Needle. Plus, you can take a look at some of the costumes worn by Arya, Jaqen H’ghar, and the Waif in the HBO series, as well as a new themed jewelry line, DragonStorm, a Sterling Silver collection featuring jewelry and accessories seen on and inspired by the character Daenerys Targaryen.

Basically if you’re already familiar with Game Of Thrones, you won’t get any real spoilers during this experience. The series just finished Season 6 after all. But if you like the world and have always dreamed of being a part of it, then I suggest you visit The Hall Of Faces at least once. Who knows who you will run into or if you’ll be named the new King of the North. Or, perhaps you’ll finally become No One.

The Hall of Faces is located right across from the Omni hotel in San Diego, CA, (628 L Street). Each day, the first 500 attendees will receive a free Funko Pop! figure and a SDCC “Beautiful Death” poster created by artist Robert Ball.

Game of Thrones The Hall of Faces is open on a first-come-first-serve basis to members of the public with a valid 2016 San Diego Comic Con badge:

“¢ Thursday July 21st – Saturday, July 23rd from 11:00am – 5:00pm
“¢ Sunday, July 24th 10:30am – 2:00pm.

Regarding the DragonStorm jewelry line, items will be on display at The Hall Of Faces throughout the Con, which runs through Sunday, July 24, 2016, and will feature items for pre-order, including several brand new pieces revealed in the final episodes of Season 6. DragonStorm is a collaboration with costume designer Michele Clapton, and Yunus Ascott and Eliza Higginbottom of Yunus & Eliza.
