Last week Jeff Bridgesteased the return of his character from The Big Lebowski, The Dude. Some folks likely got their hopes up that it was for a sequel, though all signs pointed to it being for some kind of Super Bowl commercial.
Unfortunately for those who got their hopes up, it is indeed for a commercial. Instead of waiting for this Sunday, the ad has been shared online early. But the good news is that this is all for a good cause. You can find more information and watch the video below.
Bridges appears in the commercial with Sarah Jessica Parker, who reprises her role as Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City, as the two order an unexpected beverage.
The ad is for Stella Artois but also to promote their partnership with Water.org, which was co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White. Through their partnership buying a bottle of Stella equals a month of clean drinking water for someone who needs it, while purchasing a chalice equals five years of water.
