| ‘Flappy Bird’ Game Is Gone; Creator Hates It Now Too |

After over 50 million downloads, Dong Nguyen creator of Flappy Bird has decided to take the game down from the App Store and Google Play, stating that he “cannot take this anymore” and that he now hates his popular creation. This may be in response to all the overwhelming negative criticism the game has been receiving. And right before Nguyen announced the news on February 8, 2014 via Twitter, I may have written an article called “10 things I hate about Flappy Bird,” so hopefully this wasn’t the straw that broke camel’s back. Because Mr. Dong Nguyen, you should know that I obviously cared enough about the game to compile a list of reasons why I hate it. There is a thin line between hate and love and Flappy Bird teetered on both sides.
