| ‘Hercules’ Trailer: Dwayne Johnson Becomes The Legend
The first trailer for Hercules, a revisionist take on the legend based on a Radical Comics title, has been released online. The movie stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the title role, and it is directed by Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Tower Heist). The movie also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Aksel Hennie, and Reece Ritchie. | Dwayne Johnson May Not Be Back For ‘Fast And Furious 7’Fast and Furious 6 races into theaters on May 24th, but it’s confirmed sequel, Fast and Furious 7, may lose yet another vital piece of the Fast and Furious franchise. After Justin Lin confirmed that he would not be able to direct the seventh installment – due to scheduling constraints – James Wan quickly became one of the frontrunners to helm the film. Now there is word that Dwayne Johnson may not be able to reprise his role because of scheduling conflicts of his own. Speaking to Collider, Johnson said that his shooting schedule with Brett Ratner‘s Hercules film and the projected shooting date for Fast and Furious 7 clashes with each other in a way that will make him unable to reprise his role.

The cast for director Brett Ratner‘s next movie, Hercules, has added a handful of new actors to join Dwayne Johnson, who’s starring in the lead role. New additions to the cast include Ian McShane (Deadwood, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love, Enemy at the Gates), John Hurt (Alien, Hellboy), Rufus Sewell (Dark City, A Knight’s Tale), Rebecca Ferguson (The White Queen), and Askel Hennie (Headhunters).

Alan Menken, the composer behind the films and songs we know by heart, presented the most extraordinary two hours of music I have ever heard – and seen – in my life. Now that’s quite a statement. Some may call that a bit exaggerated, but as a devoted Disney fan, like almost all of my fellow audience members, we knew the gift we were being presented. Menken rarely performs publicly, so to hear his legendary stories and songs in person made this even more winning.
