The Geeks of Doom   |  @   |

Ben Stiller directed this 30 minute pilot, about the smartest man on earth (Jack Black) who solves crimes along with a talking motorcycle (voiced by Owen Wilson). FOX never aired the 1999 show.

  3. Ok. I’m not sure what to say. Is this bad? Yes. It is quite awful. But am I enjoying it? I am enjoying this immensely. Special effects on par with 80’s-90’s BBS sci-fi (Red Dwarf timeframe). Acting almost as refined as that found on Killer Clowns from Outerspace. A script that even the A-Team would have turned down. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see the series ending have “Mr Silver” get “merged” with a real bullet, just so he could take out Jack with a “Silver Bullet”. I’m also a fan of Vincent Schiavelli (Paragon). I would have enjoyed hearing this among the list of cancelled FOX shows in the beginning of the “new” first episode of Family Guy. Ben? I know you’ll never read this, but… make more and sell them on iTunes. I’ll buy them. At $3 a piece, you’ll made at least $39 for the 13-episode season. I would be all over that. Oh, and Dalek’s ROCK. I need to wake up to more old Doctor Who re-runs.

  6. I do so wish this had made it to air. It’s a fun vid!

  7. The sun-giving-power theme and agent-always-chasing theme may be in homage to the show The Phoenix, which lasted 4 or 5 episodes. Of course The Incredible Hulk is in there too.

  8. It’s a great spoof of all the shows I liked when I was a kid! Along with the other lies though, this is not 1999 is it? This is BRAND NEW!
