Empress Eve   |  @   |

Dark Knight BatpodThe LA Times posted two images of the “Batpod,” a new two-wheeled vehicle to be featured in the upcoming film The Dark Knight, starring Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader.

The photos (see one of them at right) accompany an article on stunt rider Jean-Pierre Goy, who’s been prepping for months at a top-secret location in England for scenes involving the new Bat bike. There’s also an interview with Nathan Crowley, who not only created the new two-wheeler, but also the famed Batmobile from Dark Knight‘s 2005 predecessor Batman Begins.

The new vehicle was also featured on The Today Show. Check out the video for it here.
