Director Steven Spielberg announced this week that Karen Allen will reprise her role in the fourth Indiana Jones film as Marion Ravenwood, the character she played in the first film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The official Indiana Jones site (with updated site design) has posted the video announcement titled “Indiana Jones Comic-Con Preview,” which was taken from the set of Indy 4 and shown via satellite feed to audiences at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Also available now on the official site is the cast appearance video that was shown at the Con, titled “Spielberg, Indy Cast at Comic-Com.” New images have also been posted titled “Indy Cast From Comic-Con” and “Marion Ravenwood Returns.” (See them here after the jump; click for larger view.)

Indiana Jones 4 — full title to be revealed this Thanksgiving — also stars Harrison Ford in the title role along with Cate Blanchett, Shia LaBeouf, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, and Jim Broadbent and will be released in theaters May 22, 2008.
