Iron Man director Jon Favreau made an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend and unveiled the first ever shown footage from the highly anticipated film.
The footage shows Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) pre-capture, then mainly in the gray “Mark 1” suit, and finally also a few clips of Stark in the red-and-gold “Mark III” Iron Man suit. There’s also a final visual-effects shot of Iron Man in even more sophisticated armor, flying with F-22 fighter jets. (Read Favreau’s post-screening interview with SCIFI here.)
Watch the Iron Man footage here after the jump (while it lasts on YouTube, which probably won’t be long).
