A nifty Valentine’s-themed postcard and DVD arrived in the mail from Magnolia Pictures with a new video clip from The Signal as well as a Webisode based on the R-rated film, which hits theaters February 22, 2008.
See postcard here at right (click for larger view); here below are the video clip and Webisode. The clip was unnamed, but it’s from the second act of the film at the house where the New Year’s Eve party is to take place. The Webisode is a short video inspired by The Signal.
Dave3 and I went to a press screening for the movie earlier in the week and while I’m not allowed to post the review (which D3’s working on) until the film’s release date, I can say this movie is AWESOME. That’s right, all caps, baby.
Back in January, GoD’s own T.E. Pouncey put The Signal in the running when he pondered, What Will Be the Science Fiction Cult Film of 2008? Let me tell you, this movie is not only the next sci-fi cult movie, it’s definitely the next cult horror flick.
I’m not sure what else I’m allowed to say at this time, but I will stress this — GO SEE THIS MOVIE. I promise you, you WILL enjoy it. In the meantime, watch the new video clip and Webisode here below, and check out our previously posted videos, trailers, images, and movie info here.
