As any of you who read my last Terminator piece know, I’m not too thrilled about the upcoming fourth installment in the franchise. I’m not going to get into it again, if you wish to read my pain, go check out the article. Some people were led to believe that I was an angry person due to that particular story and I don’t want to add too much to that!
I’ll keep it nice and short n’ sweet!
BBC is reporting that not only is Christian Bale signed on to play the adult John Connor for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins (ugh), but he’s also signed on for two more movies after that! I assume that the only way that this would happen is if the first film does really well. McG is still on board to direct, and the film is still aiming at a May 22, 2009 release date.
Maybe, if they play their cards right, they could have the 6th Terminator movie at a PG rating with The Wiggles (are they still popular?) as a colorful troop of robots, sent back in time to spread laughter and joy among people involved in the great robot war through song and dance and all sorts of silliness! No?
One thing’s for sure, if you’re excited about the new Terminator movie, you’re absolutely buzzing about this right now.

McG to Direct? Seriously? The same guy that directed Charlie’s Angels… and a Pussycat Dolls video…?
Jesus…. I mean Jonathan Mostow made a total balls-up of Terminator 3, and they think McG will do better?
Are they gonna have John Connor listening to The Spice Girls while he plans hits on Cyberdyne’s T-101 factories or something? Sheesh!

Bale is the only thing keeping my interest in this, but is it really necessary? The more I think about it, this would considered backstory and not much else.
