Flickr user Avanaut brings new meaning to the term cool with this inventive Lego on Hoth photo set.
This particular photo set resonates deep down to my geeky core, as I played many a long, frostbitten day out on the snowy tundra of ‘Hoth’ (by way of Brooklyn, NY) as a kid, IG-88 & Darth Vader figures in hand and Han Solo in my heart. The set is enhanced by Avanaut’s decently witty titles and captions, and the random insertion of one Dr. Henry Jones. Per his recommendation I encourage you to use the ‘view on white/black’ option when looking at each photo for maximum immersion and enjoyment.
According to Avanaut, who hails from Helsinki, Finland, he ‘has enjoyed taking photos of [his] kid’s toys over the years’ and ‘the pics are there just for fun.’ Evidence of his hobby-cum-obsession mounts with several other cool toy-related sets that you can find nestled within his photostream. If you’re like me I’m sure you’ll enjoy those as well.
