I miss those Marvel Trading Cards, not that they were actually worth trading.

I still have my cards. In the basement of course. Women are inclined to walk in and out of my bedroom. Can’t have their paths crossed.

As a kid, I never understood the argument that these cards weren’t worth anything. How are they any different from sports cards? There were rares just like today with WoW or Pokemon which are sought after. Whether it’s Babe Ruth, Charizard, or Wolverine … if someone out there really wants it, they will pay. I remember trading some of the 1993 (I think) set of Marvel cards with a friend. It was fun. The artwork was great. Just because there wasn’t a collector’s magazine determining their wealth didn’t make them worthless.

Agent M will always be the lead singer of Tsunami Bomb (and now The Action Design.) This Johnny-Come-Lately… fah!
