As a Thanksgiving gift to fans, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon posted the first photo from the two-part film through the official Twilight Twitter account.
Condon tweeted the following, along with a link to the image on Twitpic: “Happy Thanksgiving and a crazy Black Friday to all of you and yours.” – Bill Condon

Apparently, the image is from the film’s eagerly anticipated sex scene between Bella and Edward, and shows Bella’s arm resting on a down blanket; in her hand are feathers from the slashed up blanket, which I guess is supposed to depict hot, wild sex.
Fan reaction to the tweet and in the comments section of the Twitpic page has been massive, as expected. Though, I have to admit, I’m not getting what the big deal is. Maybe it’s that fans know the details of the scene and this tease is enough to get them in a frenzy, which is cool and all, but I’d have liked it to be a bit more revealing. (Perhaps I’m missing some significant detail?)
I’d love to hear from all you Twilight fans out there. Are you excited about this photo?
Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be released November 18, 2011, with Part 2 coming to theaters on November 16, 2012.

@LP
Ah, I see, thanks. I didn’t read Breaking Dawn yet, so I was confused as to the significance of the feathers (seemed like fans were going crazy over seeing the feathers, so I’d wondered why).

Read the book….that’s all I can say. Then you’ll understand why fans are going crazy. The feathers reference is directly from the book.
