Somewhere, the real, true Steve Martin is hiding away, shaking his head at whatever Martin we’ve been seeing over the past few years and his subsequent performances.

Working on films like the Cheaper By The Dozen franchise as well as The Pink Panther, Martin has seemed to become something of a shell of his former self, as have both Jack Black and Owen Wilson. And now they are all together.

The new trailer for the trio’s upcoming film, The Big Year has hit, and it looks absolutely awful.

The Big Year follows the story of three men looking to add a new spice to their lives by going on a year-long vacation of sorts, and looks to be wholly empty of laughs, and even lower on true intrigue. Apple has the trailer, so if this premise and cast interests you, than give it a shot. But if you have better things to do, and honestly, you do, go ahead and skip it.
