Mondo Posters are an impressive display of artwork and they pay homage to the subject. Although they have been drawn up for movies, Mondo has teamed up with HBO to create new posters for the hit TV series Game of Thrones.
Just like last year, Mondo will be having their very own booth at Comic-Con (for those who are mapping out and planning their weekend geek fest in San Diego it will be booth #437), and just like last year, they will be releasing past posters at an unannounced time. So of course you will have to follow @MondoNews on Twitter to find out all the exact times and posters you want to get your hands on if you didn’t already the first time.
Game of Thrones posters are drawn up by Vania Zouravoliov (24″ x 33″, edition of 330), Daniel Danger (17″ x 32″, edition 380), and Martin Ansin (24″ x 36″, edition of 430) will be released on July 12-14 respectively. So if you don’t get one on the 12th, you will be able to get one another day. Unfortunately that also means you wont be able to get a Zouravoliov poster, which in my opinion looks absolutely gorgeous.
All of these posters will cost around $50 a pop. It may sound like a lot at first, but as I’ve said many times before, these posters are worth every penny, and there are those who will pay a lot more money on eBay just to get their hands on one.
