Mondo Posters are an impressive display of artwork and they pay homage to the subject. Although they have been drawn up for movies, Mondo has teamed up with HBO to create new posters for the hit TV series Game of Thrones.

Just like last year, Mondo will be having their very own booth at Comic-Con (for those who are mapping out and planning their weekend geek fest in San Diego it will be booth #437), and just like last year, they will be releasing past posters at an unannounced time. So of course you will have to follow @MondoNews on Twitter to find out all the exact times and posters you want to get your hands on if you didn’t already the first time.

This Friday, Mondo, the Alamo Drafthouse’s collectible art boutique, will be offering up a new limited edition Star Wars print.

The good folks over at Mondo were nice enough to give Geeks of Doom an exclusive first look at the next poster in the series, titled “Sanctuary Moon,” by artist Daniel Danger.

The print will go on sale at the Mondo Shop some time this Friday, December 10, 2010, so be sure to follow @MondoNews on Twitter to find out the exact moment the sale begins. And take my advice: if you want this poster, watch carefully on Friday early in the day for the on-sale announcement and then buy it immediately. These limited edition prints at Mondo typically sell out in 1-2 hours, and sometimes even in 15 minutes!

The “Sanctuary Moon” screen print is 24″x36″ and will have a very limited edition of 230. One purchase allowed per household. The price is $50.
