Fans of the canceled cult hit Arrested Development have been awaiting this day for a long, long time. Today, the show officially goes back into production on brand new episodes, which will be made available through Netflix instead of on your TVs.
Even better, it’s being reported that each and every one of the show’s original cast have entered into final negotiations to return whenever everything gets situation and actual filming is ready to begin. This includes Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat, and Tony Hale.
Just like shows like Family Guy and Futurama before it, Arrested Development officially was brought back from the grave by Netflix, who decided to give it not only a short 10-episode return, but also a feature length movie.
And though the 10 episodes will bridge to the movie, it’s said that a door for another run of episodes will be left open if it does well in its return.
The shows producers are all also returning, including Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Glazer and Ron Howard, who will also be returning as the narrator.

This show was/is terrible! There’s a good reason it was axed in the first place…it sucks!!! Without a doubt one of the least funny things ever on tv.

Without question the best sitcom of all time. Super excited for this.

Finally! Been waiting for it for years. TV viewers can’t always appreciate the self-deprecating humor, sarcasm and twisted reality the show was known for. I loved each and every line, in every episode! Bring it on! Oh, I hope Liza Minnelli comes back too :-)
