I don’t know about you, but I’ve been wondering “what happened” after the events of 1983’s Return Of The Jedi for all these years. Yes, we had all of the Star Wars Expanded Universe goodness, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but there was always that sense that since it was not canon, it couldn’t be considered the real deal.
Now that we’re getting an official Star Wars sequel film trilogy, with the first film — Star Wars: Episode VII — coming in 2015, we’ll finally find out what happened to Han, Leia, Luke, and all their friends and foes. It will likely be a while before we get an official posters, so in the meantime, we can enjoy these fan-made Star Wars: Episode VII posters.
Check out the posters here below, which were created by deviantart user andrewss7.
In truth, these posters that take a look at the aftermath of war, look less Star Wars/scifi and more Battleship, but they’re still a very cool rendering.
Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2015 (the July 2015 date on the fan-made posters are inaccurate).
