Now that George Clooney got his Oscar, he’s rounding up his buddies for “Ocean’s 13.”
Stars Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, Elliott Gould and Don Cheadle are returning, as is director Steven Soderbergh, who also worked on the first two films. Ellen Barkin is joining the cast, filling in for Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who are sitting this one out.
Filming is scheduled to begin in July, and “Ocean’s 13” should hit theaters next summer.
“Ocean’s 11” was released in 2001, and the sequel “Ocean’s 12” was released in 2004. The two films combined have earned more than $800 million worldwide.
Is it just me or is Ellen Barkin not exactly a suitable replacement for the likes of Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones? She’s a great actress, but she doesn’t have the star power to fill those shoes. Weird.

who is ellen barkin? and nobody can fill julia roberts shoes not even this ellen chick. this movie doesn’t sound even remotely interesting and id rather spend my money on something else

You could not compare Julia Roberts to Ellen Barkin in her heyday. She’s still hot now too. As for Oceans 13, it just goes to show you no matter how rich some people are, they’ll do anything for money.
