| Bytes: Hellraiser Redux, Arnold Won’t Be Back |
- MGM Studios will make a fourth installment of the TERMINATOR, but without the franchise’s megastar (and current California governor) Arnold Schwarzenegger. [Link]
- Andy Serkis, Helen Mirren, Rafi Gavron, and Sienna Guillory have joined the cast of the upcoming family fantasy film INKHEART, the movie adaptation of the first book of Cornelia Funke‘s fantasy trilogy. [Link]
- The computer-animated feature BEOWULF will be shown in 3D at over 1,000 theaters when it’s released in November 2007. [Link]
- Zack Snyder, director of 2004’s DAWN OF THE DEAD, will helm a movie based on COBALT 60, a comic about a masked hero who avenges his parents’ death in a postapocalyptic world full of mutants.
- Clive Barker will script the remake of his 1987 horror flick HELLRAISER, though he will not direct the film for the The Weinstein Co. [Link]
- LOST will go on hiatus for 13 weeks starting November 8. The ABC series will return on February 7.
- SMALLVILLE will be the first series released on HD DVD, when the five-disc set for season five arrives on shelves on November 28.
