Bytes: More Saw Next Halloween
|
- The tradition continues. SAW 4 is scheduled to hit theaters next Halloween. A SAW movie has been released every Halloween since 2004.
- The HALO movie had another setback recently. Now Microsoft and producer Peter Jackson, who stepped in after Universal Studios and 20th Century Fox dropped out of the project, are putting the big-budget film on hold. A spokesman for the company said they are confident that the movie will be made eventually. Good luck with all that!
- The Wachowski brothers are writing and will direct a live-action movie based on SPEED RACER. It should be out in the summer of 2008. This is Larry and Andy Wachowski‘s first time directing since the MATRIX trilogy in 2003.
- That SUPERMAN RETURNS sequel looks like a go. Bryan Singer has signed a deal to direct and produce a follow-up to his summer movie. It’s tentatively scheduled for a summer 2009 release. However, there’s no script or budget yet.
- Moon Knight is getting a live-action TV show. Marvel is working with No Equal Entertainment on the project, about a soldier of fortune named Marc Spector who fights crime as Moon Knight.
- FINAL FANTASY XII is in stores now. The latest entry in the franchise was developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2. New features include new, fully voiced cutscenes added for the North American release and a license board that gives players the ability to customize each character’s skills and abilities.
- The mobile game THE ELDER SCROLLS IV:OBLIVION is now available for download to wireless devices from the Cingular network.
