Recently, we helped share some bloody Benicio Del Toro pics from The Wolf Man and excited we were! (Did I just Yoda that line? Awesome.)

Well, it seems spreading images for upcoming movies is the “in” thing right now as EW has released some pictures of Del Toro AS the Wolfman!

This is our first look at the final product, which was created by make-up effects master Rick Baker, and I’m just absolutely in love — No, not with Benicio Del Toro, with these pictures — though, here’s absolutely nothing wrong with Benicio Del Toro, I’m sure he’s a great dude — OK, I absolutely love both these pictures AND Benicio Del Toro, are we happy? Good.

It’s really amazing to look at this pictures and see the shades of Lon Chaney that are there and at the same time, see this horrifying recreation of a horror icon. It’s rare that I’m sold on a movie before a trailer, but it would seriously take an awful, awful, Meet the Spartans-type trailer to throw me off of this one.

In case you missed our other articles and didn’t click the link above, the movie also stars Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt and is slated for a February 13, 2009 release date.
