It was only a matter of time before the full version official website for The Dark Knight would go online.
Making its long-awaited cinematic debut on July 17th in Australia and July 18th in the United States, the Dark Knight has seen a lot of web activity already however.
Ever since they heard of “viral marketing,” Warner Bros. has been all over it, and a veritable plethora of Dark Knight websites have already made their rounds of the internet much to the delight and/or disappointment of Batman fans.
Does the website give us anything we haven’t already seen though? Not really.
It is the epitome of a movie website these days, focusing on wallpapers, buddy icons, trailers, and a synopsis, most of which have already been released online (and here at Geeks of Doom!). So if you haven’t been following any of the activity over the past year, then yeah, sure, this website will be a real kick! Otherwise”¦
Hey, the official website doesn’t have that Joker poster! :(
