Hey, it’s LiLSyKo and as you know I wrote a game review about Devil May Cry 3 and I have to say thanks for all the comments.

Now back to the topic. Devil May Cry 4 is an action game just like all the other ones and it should be played chronologically third in the four games. DMC4 has a few surprises that you might like. The main characters are Dante and the new character Nero. Nero is just like Dante except he has a few differences. You see, Nero is a devil too and his right arm is not covered in his human form so you see Nero’s right arm and you can tell he is no ordinary person.

Dante does not have his body in devil form unless he uses devil trigger. The devil trigger is when Dante or Nero go into a certain state the makes them much more powerful then their normal self. That is what a devil trigger is. I for one think it is cool.

Okay back to Nero. Nero’s biggest difference from Dante is that they both look different, but that is obvious. I am only saying this because Dante and Nero do not have many differences. Their look is the only way to really tell them from each other, aside from their voices, which are different too.

Now that you have Dante and Nero’s differences, I think now would be good to introduce you to the story of DMC4. The story you will think it is a side story for Nero, but later in the game you will realize that it is not. In the story you will think that a mysterious man that shot your leader in the head is the villian, but the real villian is Sanctus (the guy who got shot in the head) and the mysterious man who shot Sanctus was actually Dante.

Sanctus’s plan that no one knew about was to open the gates to Hell, which he succeeded at, and to save his city from peril by going into this statue called the savior, who was really a False savior. That’s the villain and as you can guess the heroes were Dante and Nero.

Here is my favorite part that I am going to love to tell you about and that is the weapons. One is the Beowulf, which you get from a woman who has the body of dragon. The Beowulf is arm and leg armor that gives you amazing strength, but you become a little sluggish, so dont fight fast-moving enemies. Also, another weapon is Pandora. Pandora looks like a suitcase, but it changes into I think about 666 different butt-kicking forms. I don’t want to talk about too many weapons because I don’t want to spoil it, so that is all I will give you.

Okay so now it is time for me to say goodbye. See you again in my next game review. This is LiLSyKo signing off.

  1. Another fun review, LyLSyKo, nice job! ^_^

Again, the weapon description is my favorite part. A suitcase that turns into 666 different ways to kick butt? Sold!

  3. Pandora sounds awesome. DMC4 is next on my Gamefly list after I finish GTA4. I’m looking forward to it. Thanks for the review!
