A second teaser trailer has been released for Twilight, the film adaptation of the popular Stephenie Meyer vampire novel.
Watch it here below!
This movie is easily the most anticipated post-summer film of the year … hell, I should say most anticipated post-Dark Knight release of the year, because I can’t think of any of candidate? Oh wait, there’s the sixth Harry Potter film. Ok, so most anticipated post-Dark Knight non-sequel of the year (that should do it).
The Catherine Hardwicke-directed film stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and is predicted to be the next Harry Potter-like phenomenon. Right now, Twilight fans are going wild for this movie, and with good reason. I’m not sure that the mainstream public has caught the movie fever yet, but I predict that come the Fall, it’s going to catch on big time.
I have to say that the more I watch of it, the more I can’t wait to see the whole thing. Something about the feel of Twilight reminds me of The Lost Boys, except there’s a romantic plot that is at the forefront. But don’t be scared away, you manly men — Twilight is going to have some badass action, too, so fear not … and enjoy!
I seriously love Harry Potter, but I completely forgot the 6th movie was coming out this fall until you mentioned it in this story. All I’ve been obsessing about is Twilight. *oops*
I disagree, all the main character does through all of the books is complain and wine(reminds me of the ninties silver surfer.)…. Remember the days when vampires were frightening and not rejects from tween harliquin romance novels?(vampmance perhaps?) I’m sure theres an audience for this watered down garbage, after all people bought yani and john tesh concert tickets….
@Christine
That’s ok, you see how I almost forgot too? Meanwhile, I love HP and write every little bit of news about the upcoming movie. See what Twilight does?
@korollock
To each his own. I dugg the book and I’m far from someone who tolerates “watered down garbage” like Yani and John Tesh :::cringe:::
This film is going to be HUGE. Meyer’s takes the vampire genre in a different direction, but the main focus is the Romeo and Juliet love story. It’s very intense. Why is that automatically labeled as “water-down” like korollocke stated? Every vampire tale has been done to death (no pun…lol), so it’s cool that we’ll have a different take on the lore.
I too cannot wait to see the whole thing. I think it’s almost anticipated more-so than the next Harry Potter…everywhere I turn there’s something new about Twilight. And with Comic Con today? Oh yeah…
And the movie looks amazing. It’s a bad-ass love story…what could be better than that? Oh, and Robert Pattinson’s a god in it…the man can act!!

Oh, Empress. You don’t have to cringe at that. I like Yani, too.
