Transformers 2

If Michael Bay knows one thing, it’s awesome-ness, and trust me, he’ll use it.

Taking a page out from The Dark Knight (which broke IMAX records, among all other records), Bay will film select key sequences from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with that gigantic, beautiful IMAX camera, promising those who see it in that format a sure-fire kick-ass ride!

This is one of many who are now taking notice and jumping on the IMAX bandwagon. Jon Favreau has talked about maybe using the technology for Iron Man 2 and D.J. Caruso wants to look into it for Y: The Last Man as well.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be released in convention and IMAX theaters on June 26, 2009.
