The MP3 album deal of the day over at Amazon today is the Pink Floyd classic Dark Side Of The Moon for only $1.99.
First of all, if you don’t already own this Pink Floyd album, you really need to, like now. Second, it’s $2, I can’t stress enough how crazy insane it would be to pass up grabbing it now if you won’t already own it (see previous sentence).
There’s a reason Dark Side of the Moon is one of the best-selling albums of all time: the 1973 release has 9 songs and you’d be hard-pressed to find one even mediocre song, let alone one that’s bad. In my opinion, this is the band’s best album (even topping The Wall, which I love too).
Just trust me on this one, people, snag this baby for a mere $2 and have a lifetime of enjoyment (or at least while MP3 format lasts). This deal might end at the end of today (though, there’s a chance it will continue through the weekend). Don’t miss out!
If you’re not familiar with the album, and you’re wondering if you’ve ever heard any songs from it, chances are, you have: “Money,” which opens with the sounds a cash register ringing and coins clanking, was its popular single and has been in frequent rotation for decades on classic rock stations.
