Another day, another big trailer for a highly anticipated upcoming movie.

Today we have for you the teaser trailer for the much-buzzed Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The movie is the fourth installment in Disney’s mammoth Pirates of the Caribbean franchise starring Johnny Depp as the beloved Captain Jack Sparrow.

Not much needs to be said, really. You’ve either stopped reading by now or you’ve already sprinted off to see the trailer! And speaking of the trailer, everything is looking pretty solid so far. There’s definitely a Pirates of the Caribbean movie on the way, but it also looks like it might be toning down the fantasy elements just a bit and embracing the human elements. That’s not to say fantasy won’t be a huge part of the movie though; as you’ll see, all of the promised mermaids and zombies and Fountain of Youth fun is accounted for.

SYNOPSIS

Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past and he’s not sure if it’s love or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard, Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
