To say that the first trailer for Fox’s upcoming adaptation of The Lorax was impressive is putting it lightly.
With the Despicable Me team of Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda behind the project, the upcoming animated flick looks like an absolute charmer, and something to make the month of March, 2012, all the more interesting. And now, we have even more to back that thought. The Australian trailer for the film has been released, and it looks mighty fine.
Taking a different route than the American spot, the trailer gives us a great deal of new footage, all of which looks really fantastic. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Horton Hears A Who adaptation from the studio, but this looks to be a really great flick, with a great narrative and some stunning visuals. The film looks luscious and visually striking, so hopefully the plot and performances will add up to a film that makes the first quarter of next year something to really write home about.
