Another year, another Woody Allen film.

2012’s release, Nero Fiddled, the director’s next piece in his recent swing of films set in various European areas, has finally found a home as Sony Pictures Classics has revealed that they have nabbed up the rights to Allen’s upcoming film.

Set to bow in the summer of next year, the film is SPC and Allen’s fifth time working together, and will feature an eclectic cast as they take on a series of stories finding their characters in the middle of Rome.

Starring Judy Davis, Penelope Cruz, Alec Baldwin, and even Roberto Benigni, amongst many more, the film is easily one of 2012’s most intriguing films, and given the greatness of Allen’s latest works, it should stand up as one of its best. If this cast can’t work together, then I don’t know who can.
