A few more names are climbing aboard Darren Aronofsky‘s Noah. Russell Crowe has already signed on to play as the titular character and Saorise Ronan and Jennifer Connelly are in for unknown roles, possibly as characters closely related to Noah. It is rumored that Connelly will play Noah’s wife. Now Deadline is reporting that Logan Lerman (Awake) and Douglas Booth (upcoming Romeo and Juliet) are signed up to play as Noah’s sons.
According to the report, Booth will play the younger son Shem, while Lerman will play as the elder sibling Ham. While we have confirmed a few more characters for Aronofsky’s biblical movie, we still don’t know what Ronan’s part is in all of this. The site says that there is a role for a love interest for Noah’s oldest son in the film, so there is a possibility that she could fulfill that role.
The report also mentions that Liam Neeson, who was up to play as the villain in Noah, is no longer going to be a part of the film.
Noah is expected to open in theaters in 2013.

Will be intersting to see how they deal with this one. Hopefully it won’t be pro-christian dreck. I would be heartbroken to see Logan Lerman reduced to doing christian direct to video movies at this stage of his career. Though maybe he could do christan porn with KirK Cameron. Now THAT would be righteous!Â

Christian films? WTFF? Logan Lerman is 100% Jewish. And Noah is an old testament story so he fits right in.

Logan Lerman is a Jew. Why would he do a “Christian movie”? Old testament is Jewish, which is what the noah story is.
