The cast for legendary director Martin Scorsese‘s upcoming project The Wolf of Wall Street is coming together nicely.
It’s being reported that Jon Bernthal has just signed on to the project, where he’ll play a drug dealer and money launderer. Bernthal is best known for his work as Shane on the hit AMC series, The Walking Dead. He’s also set to star in Walking Dead series creator and former showrunner Frank Darabont’s new TNT series L.A. Noir.
The actor joins a cast that includes Academy Award nominee Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead, playing a Wall Street stock broker who rose to the top, leading to a lifestyle of heavy partying and no restrictions, and ultimately crashed hard.
Also appearing in the movie is fellow Oscar nominee Jonah Hill (Moneyball), Oscar winner Jean Dujardin (The Artist), and Margot Robbie (Pan Am, Neighbours).
The movie is based on a true story, adapted from the memoir of Jordan Belfort.
