Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam must have enjoyed his experience making Pacific Rim with director Guillermo del Toro, because he has now entered into early negotiations to join del Toro’s next project, Crimson Peak.

If a deal is worked out, Hunnam would join Emma Stone, who is also currently in negotiations for the movie.

Not much is known about the movie apart from it being a ghost story of some kind.

Del Toro initially penned the screenplay for Crimson Peak with Matthew Robbins, and recently rewrote it with Lucinda Coxon.

The movie is setting up to start shooting in February of 2014.
