Boston: Boston

Boston‘s self-titled debut album, Boston, is on sale for only $2.99 this month in MP3 format.

If you would like a physical copy of Boston, the CD is available for only $6.99 and comes with a FREE MP3 download of the entire album. Also, right now, if you purchase the CD, you’ll also get a $1 Amazon MP3 Credit (see the “Special Offers and Product Promotions” section of the product page).

Browse the main sale page to see all 100 albums on sale for only $5 each in MP3 format through the end of April 2013, as well as several albums on sale for only $2.99 each.

The band’s second album, Don’t Look Back, is available now on CD for only $4.99, while Boston – Greatest Hits, a 15-song collection of the band’s best offerings, is only $5.99.

Originally released a few weeks after America celebrated its 200th birthday during the Summer of 1976, the debut album by the band Boston has become one of the more memorable classic rock albums of all time. Every song on the record by this Beantown group has gotten radio play thousands of times; the opening track “More Than A Feeling” spawned would-be and successful guitar heroes all across the continent and it remains one of those dividedly “feel good” rock and roll albums of the 1970s.

With guitar histrionics by Tom Scholtz and soaring lead vocals by the late Brad Delp, Boston remains unabashed popcorn classic rock for sure, but as guilty of a pleasure as a big oversized bag of Hershey’s miniatures.
