It’s not much, but something fans of Star Wars video games have been screaming for for an eternity peeked its head out at E3 2013.
During the Electronic Arts presentation, a brief teaser trailer was shown. It wasn’t clear what it was at first, but soon everything became very clear: a new Star Wars: Battlefront game coming.
You can check out the trailer below.
The expected game was Battlefront 3, but interestingly enough, this is only being shown as Star Wars: Battlefront at the moment. Could it be a remake, or are they just dropping the numbers for now?
As you’ll recall, Disney decided to close LucasArts back in April, choosing instead to license their games out to other publishers. We then found out that the company had reached an exclusive deal with EA for future games. And here we are.
Like EA or not, this is also a Dice game, and having the people behind the Battlefield franchise on your Battlefront game has to be considered promising.
