Remember that adorable Exorcist Crochet Amigurumi Playset, complete with projectile-vomiting Regan MacNeil? Well, if you dug that, here’s something else along those lines: The Exorcist Happy Meal.
Pinterest user Newt Clements mocked up a series of horror-themed Happy Meals – the popular kid’s meal package from McDonald’s fast food eatery. The mock-ups come complete with the expected toy for each property: The Exorcist has the demon-possessed Regan bound to the bed; The Shining has an axe-wielding Jack Torrance; Godzilla has the famed kaiju; and Halloween has the masked killer Michael Myers brandishing his signature knife.
Other “Happy Meals” include those for Psycho, Kill Bill, Aliens, Resident Evil, and more (including some non-horror selections).
Be sure to head over to the Pinterest page to check out the rest of the faux Happy Meals.
When I was a kid, I loved getting one of those little Happy Meal houses with the toy inside. I didn’t get it too often, since my parents didn’t want us to drink soda, so I mainly looked longingly at my friends’ Happy Meals. Over time, McDonald’s did away with the little house, but I think it eventually made a comeback. Not sure how they’re sold now since I haven’t been in a McD’s in eight years, but in my opinion, the paper house is a selling point, as is, of course, the toys. (The food, not so much.)
What do you think of these imaginary horror-themed Happy Meals? What other horror films should get the Happy Meal treatment?

Would love to see ‘Unhappy Meals’ for The Fly, The Howling, An American Werewolf In London, Sleepy Hollow, They Live, Killer Klowns From Outer Space or even The Thing.

Ooh, I’d like to see one for Child’s Play. I have a friend who is still very freaked out by Chucky. :P

Jaws, Poltergeist, Dawn of the Dead/ WALKING DEAD, and Cujo are a few of the good ones I remember. Let’s face it, they would never sell them to kids but I can bet that a lot of adults would pay for adult size Happy Meals with toys like that included. I know I would make sure to get two of every one. One to play with and one to save. Lol
