Whoever says Joss Whedon‘s criminally canceled Firefly is dead and gone clearly underestimates the passion of the show’s ever growing fanbase…even over a decade after the show was ended.
One line from the show’s opening song that’s grown to become a sort of motto for fans in their ongoing fight to see Netflix or someone else resurrect the show, standing for tenacity and determination, is “you can’t take the sky from me.” These words were never truer recently when a cloud formed to look very much like the Firefly crew’s ship, Serenity.
