If you happened to watch Marvel’s Assembling A Universe special on ABC yesterday, you might have noticed a few sneak peeks for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
These glimpses into Joss Whedon‘s second Avengers effort consisted of both live-action and concept art, and while the former didn’t really show anything too spoilery (besides what looked like a Hulkbuster fist), the concept art proved to be our best and earliest look at new characters like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, plus returning ones like Hulk and Black Widow. Plus a look at Iron Man in his Hulkbuster armor fighting the Hulk.
To see all these images hit the jump.
It’s great to see that we can get an early look at Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in costume. It’s probably the only good look at the characters we will get for a while, but if you want to see them in action, then stick around for the Captain America: The Winter Soldier mid-credit scene. If you look closely at the Quicksilver art, you might see that he is fighting what looks like multiple Ultrons.
We also have another piece of concept art from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Avengers: Age of Ultron sees the return of the cast from the first Avengers film, and adds Aaron Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and James Spader. It opens May 1, 2015. Guardians of the Galaxy will hit theaters on August 1, 2014.
