Amid all the announcements coming out of San Diego Comic-Con, BOOM! Studios announced the upcoming release of Cyanide & Happiness: Punching Zoo, the first collection of the popular webcomic written and illustrated by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick, and Matt Melvin.

The series will be released under BOOM!’s creator-owned BOOM! Box imprint.

Cyanide & Happiness is a fairly random comic strip that touches on any number of topics with a heavy dose of black humor and a simplistic art style that utilizes stick figures for all the characters. Since launching in 2005, Cyanide & Happiness has gained one of the largest and most loyal fanbases for any webcomic.

Cyanide & Happiness: Punching Zoo will be released on August 20th with a retail price of 14.99. The book will collect an unknown number of previously release strips, as well as 30 brand new comics, so fans old and new will want to pick this up.
