Subscriptions services are all the rage, and Electronic Arts wants to get in on it.
The company has announced their very own new subscription service called EA Access, which they’ve partnered with Microsoft for to make it exclusive to Xbox One. If interested, you can use Access for a fee of $4.99 per month, or you can commit to a full year for $29.99 and save big.

In addition to being able to unlock “The Vault” and play various EA games when you join EA Access, you’ll also get a 10% discount of any EA digital content you download on Xbox One, including full games such as Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Users will also be able to try out some games up to five days before they’re released and even save your progress so that, if you ultimately decide to purchase that game, you can pick up where you left off.
The list of games you can play to start is smaller than expected, with Battlefield 4, Madden 25, FIFA 14, and Peggle 2 being the first titles available. One would think that there would be a lot more of EA’s older games released on there, just so there’s more than only four you could play. How often new games will be added is not yet known.
EA Access is in beta for a limited number of players now, with an official launch coming soon. You can stay updated over at the service’s official website.
