From their fifth album, 1989’s Thrash Zone, here is Houston’s own Dirty Rotten Imbeciles (aka D.R.I.) with “Beneath the Wheel.”

D.R.I. was instrumental in the development of a metal genre known as crossover, a mixture of thrash and hardcore punk along with their contemporaries such as Suicidal Tendencies, Agent Orange, Corrosion of Conformity, Discharge, and Stormtroopers of Death. The band still sporadically tours to this day and a new record has long been rumored to be in the works despite the fact that it has been nineteen years since their last album.
