Earlier this month saw the theatrical release of Taken 3 starring Liam Neeson as retired CIA operative Bryan Mills, who we’ve learned over and over again has a “particular set of skills.” Although this third installment was billed as the final installment in the franchise, it’s doing so well at the box office ($160.5 million worldwide so far), it would come as no surprise if Fox eventually planned a Taken 4.
On an episode last week of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel joked that in just a few days Fox had already written, filmed, and cut a trailer for Taken 4, which coincidentally stars the late night talk show host, his sidekick Guillermo, and of course Liam Neeson. After Guillermo’s dog Paco is taken, he and Neeson go on a hunt to find the dognapper, played by Kimmel.
Watch the trailer here below for Taken 4, aka T4ken 4: A-Paco-Lypse.
It’s great to see Neeson have so much fun with this character, which debuted in 2008’s Taken, and has gone on to have a life of its own. The actor recently prank-called an ex-boyfriend of co-star Maggie Grace (who plays his daughter who’s abducted) in-character as Bryan Mills to great comedic effect.

Taken 3, starring Liam Neeson, was supposed to be the last Taken movie but it did so well at the box office last weekend, they decided to make another one. We are lucky enough to have the first trailer for it. #Taken4
