Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls and Fallout video game franchises are two of the biggest and best on the planet, offering not only great games to play but stunning fictional worlds to escape to for countless hours of wandering and adventuring.
So what happens when the two worlds collide? In a new video from director Andrew McMurray, Dovahkiin (or Dragonborn) from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim meets a human representation of the Vault-Tec mascot from the Fallout universe, known lovingly as Vault Boy. At the time of their meeting it’s clear they’re not being controlled by players who check to see if someone is friendly before attacking. Much blood is shed.
Click on over to the other side to see how the fight goes down, as well as a behind-the-scenes video showing how the impressive visual effects were created.
Now, while I very much enjoyed this video, if these two were to actually meet I assume Vault Boy would simply whip out his trusty Fat Man mini-nuke launcher and ended it quickly. Then again, a quick Slow Time dragon shout or another FUS RO DAH! (we KNOW how effective that shout can be) from the Dragonborn, and who knows what happens.
