Oscar weekend is here! A time when we all turn into armchair Siskel and Eberts (RIP twice!), and shout at our television screens when one of our faves inevitably loses. You just can’t pick ’em all.

But before the Super Bowl of awards shows, The 87th Annual Academy Awards, we can still bask in our dreams and enjoy the commercials that the best awards show host ever (sorry Ellen! You were really close Amy and Tina!), Neil Patrick Harris, made to get us ready for this golden event.

This is the first time Neil Patrick Harris will host The Oscars, having hosted The Tonys four times and The Emmys twice. More importantly, he has also hosted The World Magic Awards and The Spike Video Game Awards.

No matter who wins in the movie world on Sunday night, NPH has already won in the eyes and hearts of the viewers.

The 87th Annual Academy Awards airs live Sunday, February 22nd, 2015, at 8:30pm ET on ABC, with the live Red Carpet arrivals starting at 7pm ET/4pm PT, and a special Jimmy Kimmel Live post-Oscars show.
