Medea’s not happy with Hero’s failing his test, or insisting that he return to Athens (especially since his reasoning is that Aegeus is there, which is embarrassing for her because she apparently didn’t really care what had become of her husband) (not that we blame her, because that guy is a problem). Hero in turn is not happy that Oracle is putting him in the position of protecting her from Minos, who will no doubt feel betrayed…but the mood changes when Hero deduces that nobody — not even Chronos — CAN kill him as long as he has the Lexicon.
