Remember back in 2012 when we saw that awesome trailer for a game called ZombiU set to the British national anthem “God Save the Queen” that reminded us a whole lot of that unforgettable first Dead Island trailer? If not, go ahead and watch them. Seriously, they’re that good. I’ll wait right here for you.

Back? Excellent! Unfortunately the games themselves weren’t nearly as good as those first trailers. ZombiU especially, because it was exclusive to Nintendo’s Wii U console, and most people who might be interested in a game like that weren’t the type of gamers that were rushing out to buy a Wii. But now the game is making its way to the other gaming platforms, the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and a new trailer has been released to celebrate the occasion.
The new trailer combines some of the original trailer seen in the link above, now using a cover of the song “London Bridge is Falling Down,” with some footage of gameplay to show you how the game is looking three years after its initial introduction. You can watch the new trailer for the game, which has been re-titled simply Zombi (because who needs to sound like they’re some college…even it’s a zombie college?), below.
London is falling. How long will you survive? The nail-biting survival experience of ZombiUâ„¢ is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 18th 2015. Test your will to survive, but beware: one wrong move can cause you to lose everything and survival is not guaranteed.
Unfortunately, it appears that the game will only be offered digitally when it’s released. This is fine if you like getting things digitally, but if you’re like me and don’t fully trust digital or already have too much taking up space on your console’s hard drive and don’t want to add anything else, it might be harder to throw your money at this one.
Zombi (Lucio Fulci would be proud) will be released on August 18h.
