The hit animated show Bob’s Burgers has a nice future for fans to look forward to. Not only did season six of the animated comedy just kick off recently, but a season seven and a season eight have both officially been ordered by 20th Century Fox Television.
This means that fans of Fox’s Sunday night animated series can not only look forward to two more years of Bob Belcher and his family, but also two more years of Homer Simpson and his family with The Simpsons having been officially given a season 27 and season 28 already, with options for season 29 and season 30 in place if wanted and deals all worked out with the cast after a bit of a speedbump.
Bob’s Burgers will actually air its 100th episode when spring rolls around, believe it or not, and creator Loren Bouchard had this to say about the landmark episode:
“In a way your 100th episode should be almost like your pilot all over again. I think a good 100th episode shouldn’t be big and crazy. It should be the quintessential Bob’s Burgers episode.”
In announcing the two additional seasons, Fox Broadcasting Company Entertainment president David Madden had this to say:
“Six seasons in, the Belchers have become one of America’s most beloved TV families, and we are so happy to keep them in the fold for another two seasons. Bob’s Burgers is hilarious, warm, smart, inventive “” critics love it, and so do fans. Loren, [executive producer] Jim [Dauterive] and the brilliant voice cast continue to surprise us in the best ways, and we look forward to seeing what Bob and the family will cook up in seasons seven and eight.”
Bob’s Burgers scored a Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Outstanding Animated Program, to go along with its Outstanding Animated Program nominations in 2012, 2013, and 2015. It was also nominated for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance in ’15.

Excellent!! I am in love with this show… I love Burgers and I love looking for the sight gags. The blackboard with the burger of the day. Also the start of the show showing the store on the right always having a new tenant with a new business name.. Funny!!! The Mr. Fischoeder ( Fish Odor ) character is stupid funny…. Louise reminds me of my little sister who was a total pest, but she was very smart.
